Clare and David at House for an Art Lover

When Clare and David approached us about photographing their wedding at Charles Rennie Macintosh's House for an Art Lover in Glasgow, we leapt at the opportunity. You see, Sylwia in particular is more than a bit of a Rennie Macintosh fan. When Sylwia was still a student she was offered the opportunity to go on a secondment to another art school, and she really wanted to go to Glasgow to be near her beloved Rennie Macintosh. She was devastated when she was sent to Paris instead. Personally, I think she was slightly mad, but you can imagine that the idea of photographing in House for an Art Lover was one that caused a frisson of excitement in the Crofts Kowalczyk household. So, thank you to Clare and David for giving us that opportunity! Clare and David's day was made even more special by the quiet presence of an extra member of the wedding party, in the form of a bump. There was an extra surprise for Clare as, unbeknownst to her, her father had arranged a classic VW Campervan to transport her to House for an Art Lover. All in all, it was a splendid day, and not only Clare and David, but clearly all the guests - and the photographers to boot - had a wonderful time!
