Yvonne + Ben in Central Edinburgh - Lothian Chambers & Devil's Advocate
Every year, many thousands of people fill every possible space in Edinburgh to see the Festival. If you are planning to get married then, you can either leave the city if you are craving calm, or embrace the Festival, take it in your stride to enjoy all the buzz.
Ben and Yvonne went fairly and squarely for the latter - they were married bang in the middle of the Fringe - with their ceremony at the iconic Lothian Chambers followed by an excellent meal for their guests at Devil’s Advocate (which quickly shot to the top of the list of our favourite dining locations in the city centre). In the evening the whole wedding party headed off to a Festival Fringe event - to see Peter Antoniou’s show (seriously, if you ever come across his act, don’t hesitate, buy the tickets) and then to a vigorous ceilidh extravaganza at Lauriston Hall, where Sylwia was kidnapped to waltz with one of the ceilidh callers. What a day!
