"The response has been kind of overwhelming!  Everyone loves the pictures and we have had many people (even relative strangers!) contacting us to say they are the best wedding photos they have ever seen.  We already knew so, but it was nice to hear all the positive feedback.  Just wanted to let you know how well received they were.  You guys are awesome! :)" - Jessica

"I know Jessica has been in touch with you but I just wanted to make sure you heard from me too. The wedding photos were above and beyond our wildest expectations! She may also have told you about the sheer volume of EXTREMELY positive comments we have gotten from a ton of people. Between you and me (and Jessica) I think a lot of people are really jealous. ;-)  We couldn't be happier with the outcome, and managed to have a lot of fun while we were at it. I look forward to any opportunity we get to further praise your work." - Michael

Over here in Scotland, we tend to think of destination weddings in terms of flying over to sunny places locations like the Caribbean, and it's easy for us to forget that Scotland itself, with some of the most beautiful scenery you can find anywhere, and more than its fair share of castles, is itself an exotic wedding destination. It's great to have the opportunity to be reminded of this from time to time, especially when that opportunity involves heading up to Glencoe to spend time with such a lovely, relaxed and charming couple as Jessica and Michael.

Jessica and Michael had flown over from Florida, along with a small circle of their very closest family and friends, who were all supportive and dedicated enough to have crossed the Atlantic especially to take part in Jessica and Michael's special day. Compared to their Transatlantic odyssey, our trip up from Edinburgh to Glencoe was a mere step around the corner.

Since we would be staying overnight in Glencoe in any case, and since the intimate party meant there wouldn't be dancing (at least, not officially!), Jessica and Michael agreed that it might make the whole day more relaxed if we split the photography, photographing the preparations and ceremony, and then taking advantage of the spectacular Glencoe scenery to do a creative photo shoot the following day without the time pressures that the ceremony and meal would impose. This also meant that Jessica would be freer to run around in her wedding dress without being too worried about getting marks on it - and as you can see from the photos, they were both extremely adventurous and patient with our suggestions, which at times must have seemed a little bizarre! Jessica was even brave enough to run around in the Scottish grass wearing flip flops, which must have been prickly at times!
