Meredyth and Sebastien's winter wedding in Edinburgh

When we heard that Meredyth and Sebastien were getting married and they wanted to come over from the US and do so in Edinburgh we did a little dance of joy. Not only was a favourite church of ours involved (Canongate Kirk in the Old Town) but a year earlier we had photographed Meredyth’s sister Mary Ellen's marriage to William so it was wonderful to catch up with the Whitfords again. This was late December and with an early sunset we took the couple for portraits while it was still light before the ceremony in the New Town and on top of the Carlton Hill. Have a look at Edinburgh at its best behaviour and those purple velvet shoes (swoon).
