Destination wedding at Timberyard in Edinburgh Michelin Star Restaurant

Diana and Henry’s destination wedding in Edinburgh is a perfect example of planning the day exactly as you want it to be. The day started with a very personal ceremony taking place in the wee sunlit  courtyard at a cult Edinburgh restaurant Timberyard and after a wonderful meal and set of heartfelt toasts (including a beautiful speech from our couple) we sneaked out for a wee portrait session to a nearby spot at Grassmarket with the spectacular view of the Edinburgh Castle as our background. Meanwhile the guests moved for the part two of the day - this time at a nearby ceilidh hall where they all danced the night away.

Here is what Diana wrote about her experience of getting married in central Edinburgh: ‘{Sylwia and Simon} Such wonderful photographers and people! They not only took beautifully artistic shots of our wedding day (that are timeless and look as if they are from a movie set!) but they are such a kind, thoughtful duo whose presence put us at ease and made us feel truly special. Thank you both so much again!’

A fun fact: Timberyard is set in an authentic warehouse dating back to the 19th century when it was built as a props & costume store.
